Metlife Project - The project objectives were to design and implement a System for Institutional business that provides for aggregation of all calculated commissions into a consolidated compensation check or EFT payment to an Intermediary. It provides for the automation of the Incentive Compensation payroll feed to the HR Payroll System and automates, wherever possible, current manual processes in the various systems into one Consolidated Compensation System. It provides the business users a facility to model proposed Compensation Arrangements and Plans as necessary for changes to current or new lines of business compensation plans, arrangements, products, or awards. It also provides sales trend analysis capabilities to be used in conjunction with modeling future Compensation Plans and Arrangements. The functionality also involves needed security functions controlled by business users, such as Single Sign on and role-based access to functionality and reports. It enables the business users to create and run standard reports as needed for auditing and reporting purposes, including reporting of accepted and rejected records.

Project Institutional Defined Benefits - The project handled involved development and implementation of a secure web site for use by Institutional Defined Benefits clients, intermediaries and prospective clients. Fidelity employees within Defined Benefits such as Institutional Support Services staff use the site. A secondary benefit is to provide some self servicing facilities for clients such as report retrieval, maintaining contact details and, in a later phase, on-line straight-through processing of deals. It also involved coordinating with third party vendors who were developing the public site and integrating the two sites.
